MEK is also known as butanone. It is colorless transparent liquid, a kind of low boiling point (79.6℃) fine solvent. It is famous for its outstanding dissolving capacity and dry characteristic. MEK can dissolve in water and ethyl alcohol, ether, benzene, toluene and other organic solvents.

4. Ethylene gas phase oxidation
